BRITISH MANUFACTURER INVESTS IN APPRENTICESHIPS

Leigh Tec Systems Apprentice

Over the last 10 years Leigh Tec Systems, a British Manufacturer of Ventilation Products have employed 7 apprentices in key areas such as product design and electrical engineering and are currently looking to add a fabrication apprentice to the team. All of these apprentices have moved into full time positions and some have also been promoted to higher positions.

Leigh Tec Systems have a good relationship with nearby Selby College and this enables us to recruit from the local area which is an important factor when employing new staff.

Ian Muir of Selby College said “We have worked in collaboration with Leigh Tec Systems for over 10 years as their chosen provider of apprenticeships for Engineering With their commitment to the apprenticeship programme, Leigh Tec Systems has given excellent career opportunities to young people from their surrounding area. The apprenticeship programme has so far supplied the company with seven dedicated members of staff with excellent career opportunities in front of them. Selby College is looking forward to working further with Leigh Tec Systems in the successful development and delivery of apprenticeship programmes in the future to continue this good work.”
